SIGOMA welcomes Sarah Hall MP as new Parliamentary Group Chair

Following the ministerial appointment of Sally Jameson MP, we are pleased to announce that Sarah Hall MP has been appointed Chair of the SIGOMA Parliamentary Group.

Commenting on her appointment, Sarah Hall MP said:

“I’m really pleased to be taking on the role of Chair of the SIGOMA Parliamentary Group.

“Local councils provide services that people rely on every single day, from looking after vulnerable children and providing social care, to collecting bins and keeping our roads maintained.

“I know from Warrington just how much pressure councils are under, and how important it is that funding reflects the needs of the communities they serve.

“I want to use this role to make sure that voice is heard in Parliament and to make the case for a fairer, more sustainable approach to local government funding.”
