SIGOMA parliamentary group re-launched

The event provided a formal reconvening of the new group following the election, with SIGOMA’s Chair Cllr Sir Stephen Houghton addressing MPs and updating them on the work of the group and plans to secure a fairer distribution of local government funding for our members.

Chris Webb MP stepped in to chair the group in the absence of Marie Rimmer MP. Baroness Taylor of Stevenage and Minister Alex Norris both also addressed the group discussing MHCLG's plans for local government.
