SIGOMA Goes to Downing Street

Coinciding with national GCSE exams, a group of MPS led by Marie Rimmer and including shadow Local Government Minister Andrew Gwynne joined Sir Stephen Houghton and other SIGOMA council Leaders in the Houses of Parliament to discuss the effect of austerity on local services for the nations young, before walking to Downing Street to deliver a letter, signed by 36 MPs and many council leaders
Coinciding with the release of our SIGOMA document "No investment, no future" The letter called on the Prime Minster to invest in the future of the poorest of our young people.
